New Greta Van Fleet Album, ‘Palace For The People’ Out October
Greta Van Fleet is preparing to release their new album, Palace For The People, on October 9. The band announced the project alongside the release of their latest ballad, Saw You Stand. This new single is available now through Republic Records.
The group recorded the album in Tennessee during the spring of 2026. They worked with producer Mike Elizondo to shape the sound of these new tracks. According to the band, the recording process allowed them to focus entirely on the music without the pressures of touring or outside obligations. Guitarist Jake Kiszka described the project as a modern rock and roll record at its core.
The title Palace For The People draws inspiration from London’s Alexandra Palace. Often called Ally Pally, the venue was originally built as a public space for community gathering rather than a private site for the elite. This historical context resonated with the band members as they considered the role their music plays in bringing fans together. Bassist Sam Kiszka noted that their fans frequently mention meeting close friends through their concerts and songs, leading the group to conclude that their music serves as a palace for their audience.
The band is celebrating this news with a sold-out performance at the Metro in Chicago on July 31. This club date marks a rare opportunity to see the group in an intimate setting. Fans can hear the new track Saw You Stand immediately as the wait for the full October release begins.
