Jon Bon Jovi ended a concert early at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night. The singer stopped the show approximately 90 minutes into his set after struggling with vocal issues caused by a sinus infection. Addressing the audience directly from the stage, he told fans he had to cool it for the night and promised to share information on a potential reschedule soon.

A spokesperson for the band confirmed the health setback following the performance. This show marked the eighth of nine planned appearances at the venue as part of the ongoing Forever Tour, which kicked off on July 7. The tour represents the musician's first major return to live performances since he underwent surgery on his vocal cords in 2022.

In recent public statements, including the docuseries Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, the frontman discussed the difficulty of his recovery process. He noted that one vocal cord had atrophied, causing significant strain during performances. Despite the shortened set at Madison Square Garden, the band maintains its current schedule, including another performance at the same venue on Sunday and a series of dates in the United Kingdom throughout August and September.
