Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs prison release date moved up again, records show

Federal records indicate that Sean Diddy Combs has a new prison release date. The incarcerated music mogul is now expected to finish his term on January 24, 2028.

Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. This latest adjustment moves his release date forward from previous projections, including a date of February 23, 2028, that was noted in mid-June. Federal Bureau of Prisons records confirm the change, though officials have not provided specific reasoning for the adjustment.

Release dates for federal inmates often fluctuate based on conduct records and earned credits within the facility. Recent reports also suggest that Combs was placed in solitary confinement following an altercation with another inmate at the facility. Details regarding the duration of this confinement remain unclear.

Combs was sentenced in October after a conviction related to transporting individuals across state lines for sexual activity.
