The trial of Duane Davis moves into its third day in Las Vegas. Davis faces charges for the 1996 killing of Tupac Shakur. Prosecutors are currently working through testimony from witnesses present during the events of that night.

Throughout the first two days of court proceedings, the prosecution brought forward more than a dozen individuals. Their accounts focus on the circumstances of the shooting and the gang tensions active in the city at that time. A forensic pathologist and a retired police sergeant provided details on the autopsy and the physical evidence gathered at the crime scene.

Former security personnel who worked at local venues also gave testimony. William Heidmyer, a guard at the Maxim Hotel, described hearing multiple volleys of gunfire during the incident. Reggie Wright Jr., the former security chief for Death Row Records, addressed his presence at Club 662 that evening and refuted claims regarding his involvement in the events.

Another witness, James McDonald, stated he served as the head of security at Club 662. He denied theories about Wright’s participation and engaged in a direct exchange with the defendant before leaving the stand. The trial continues to examine the specific details surrounding the fatal shooting as the court process moves forward.
