Taylor Sheridan’s military spy thriller Lioness returns to Paramount+ for its third season. Starring Zoe Saldaña as CIA station chief Joe McNamara, the show follows the high-stakes covert operations unit responsible for fighting the war on terror.

In this new season, Joe navigates a complex web of foreign intelligence and personal betrayal. She is joined by CIA supervisor Kaitlyn Meade, played by Nicole Kidman, and Deputy Director of Operations Byron Westfield, played by Michael Kelly. U.S. Secretary of State Edwin Mullins, portrayed by Morgan Freeman, also returns to the cast.

Season 3 consists of eight episodes. New installments are released on Sundays at 3 a.m. ET on Paramount+. Viewers can access the series through either the ad-based Essential tier or the ad-free Premium tier.

The series has built a strong reputation for its intense take on espionage. With the season premiere already available, fans can expect the remaining seven episodes to roll out weekly through September 20.
