Mary Holland is set to play a key role in the upcoming DC television spinoff featuring Jimmy Olsen. Sources close to the production indicate Holland has been cast as Sandra. She joins an ensemble that includes Jimmy Tatro as the telepathic villain Gorilla Grodd.

The series is structured as a mockumentary and true-crime satire. It focuses on the character of Jimmy Olsen as he acts as a host, reflecting a style similar to previous projects from showrunners Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault. The production aims to provide a unique lens on the DC universe.

Holland brings an extensive resume to the project. Her recent work includes appearances on the sitcom Ghosts and the reboot of The Little House on the Prairie. She has also held roles in The Big Door Prize, Senior Year, and the film Nightbitch. She is represented by Atlas Artists and Paradigm Talent Agency.

James Gunn and Peter Safran serve as executive producers on the show. Production oversight is being managed by Galen Vaisman alongside the team at Warner Bros. Television. The series continues the expansion of the DC slate under the guidance of DC Studios.
