Weight loss often feels like a puzzle with missing pieces. We are told to move more and eat less, yet many people find themselves stuck in a cycle of diminishing returns. Fitness creator Lojesh recently shared a clear example of this reality. He spent three months doing a 45-minute treadmill routine every morning, only to see the scale stay fixed. Despite his consistency, his body had simply adapted to the repetitive motion.
Lojesh decided to pivot his strategy. Instead of relying on duration or high-impact running, he switched to a 20-minute incline walking program. This change prioritized intensity through varied gradients rather than long, monotonous sessions. He adjusted his speed and incline every few minutes to keep his body challenged throughout the short window of movement.
Within two weeks of this adjustment, he noticed significant changes. His body no longer had the chance to coast, and the results finally reflected his effort. This serves as a reminder that intensity and variety often trump raw volume in a training plan. The goal is to work smarter by preventing the plateaus that come from static routines.
He recommends this short, structured walk three to five times per week. Whether done post-strength training or as a standalone morning session, it provides a functional way to increase output without the wear and tear of long-distance running. Sometimes the most effective path forward is the one that forces the body to adapt to new demands.
