Morgan Kline cofounded Burn Boot Camp in 2012. Today she manages more than 400 locations across the United States. Her perspective on fitness shifted over the last decade. She moved away from working out for appearances toward training for long-term function and strength. Kline prioritizes exercises that prepare her for daily activities like lifting her three children.
She attends strength training sessions four to five times a week. Her routine focuses on compound movements that recruit multiple muscle groups at once. Deadlifts are a primary part of her program because they build the glutes, hamstrings, back, and core. She also dedicates specific sessions to pull-ups to develop upper-body strength in the shoulders, arms, and lats. She notes that trainers provide the necessary feedback on form instead of relying on gym mirrors.
Nutrition remains a consistent part of her lifestyle. She avoids complicated regimens and focuses on whole-food sources of protein in every meal. A typical day includes protein paired with carbohydrates and fats. She often prepares chicken or ground beef served with sweet potatoes, rice, and vegetables. Smoothies with plant-based protein powder are another staple in her diet.
Her philosophy emphasizes mental health as much as physical progress. By shifting her focus toward what her body can do, she avoids the stress of obsessing over appearance. She views these habits as tools that allow her to stay active for her family in the future. Maintaining this standard for over ten years keeps her energy consistent and her goals clear.
