A new fitness and recovery space has opened in Idaho Falls. The Physioshop Idaho, located at 2283 East 17th Street, combines a 24/7 private gym with professional physical therapy services.

Owner Tyler Johnson designed the facility to address a gap in the local market. By housing both training and clinical rehabilitation under one roof, the business allows members to move from injury recovery to performance training without needing to travel between different clinics or gyms. The facility includes free weights, cable machines, and cardio equipment in an environment intended to avoid the crowds of standard commercial gyms.

Physical therapy sessions at the location move away from passive treatments. Dr. Braden Bennett joins Johnson in treating a range of musculoskeletal issues, emphasizing movement-based exercises rather than static applications of ice or heat. The team works with clients of all ages to improve mobility, strength, and daily function.

Johnson, an Idaho Falls native and certified strength and conditioning specialist, opened the facility in April 2026. He notes that the proximity between the gym and the physical therapy clinic offers convenience for members who might need immediate attention for a minor strain or injury while training.
