Sausalito City Manager Elaine Forbes appeared in court this Wednesday following her arrest for an unusual incident at the Sausalito marina. Forbes, 53, faces misdemeanor charges after police found her aboard several private vessels early Saturday morning. Authorities allege that she gained unauthorized access to multiple boats, including a 66-foot yacht, where she reportedly ransacked the interiors, consumed food, and left behind empty alcohol containers.

During the brief five-minute hearing, Forbes appeared in an orange-and-white jumpsuit. Her attorney, Randy Knox, requested that her initial $50,000 bail be dismissed.
