Disasters like the recent Spokane firestorm leave deep marks on our mental health. Many individuals and families are currently navigating the quiet, personal aftermath of losing their homes or feeling the strain of the crisis. To provide support, a local provider is stepping in to help those affected.
DANU Therapy is hosting a free group trauma therapy session designed for fire victims. This intensive EMDR event focuses on helping attendees process their experiences in a safe, controlled environment. The session is open to individuals and families who are working through the stress and anxiety caused by the fires.
There are 20 spots available for this event, which takes place on Sunday, August 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 104 S. Freya Street. The organizers will provide lunch for all participants during the session.
If you or someone you know is struggling, this is a chance to connect with professional help. To reserve a spot, you can contact DANU Therapy by calling 509-418-9680 or by sending an email to [email protected]. Reach out if you need this support.
