Women in their 20s and 30s today balance demanding work schedules, social lives, and health goals. Amid this busy pace, nutrition often becomes secondary. Fitness coach Yash Vardhan Swami notes that small, everyday habits frequently derail long-term energy and physical well-being.
One major issue is consistent under-eating. Skipping breakfast or surviving on coffee to control weight often leads to fatigue and eventual overeating. The body requires consistent fuel, not just calorie restriction.
Another trap is fixating on calorie counts while ignoring nutrient density. Calories measure energy, but they do not tell you if a meal provides necessary protein, fiber, or vitamins. A meal low in calories but lacking key nutrients leaves the body under-supported.
Protein intake is a common blind spot. Many people prioritize carbohydrates, delaying meaningful protein consumption until late in the day. Incorporating sources like eggs, paneer, pulses, or lean meats into earlier meals creates better balance.
Finally, an all-or-nothing mindset regarding food labels creates stress. Categorizing items strictly as good or bad makes a sustainable lifestyle difficult to maintain. Planning simple, consistent meals helps avoid the common urge to grab convenient but less nutritious options at the last minute.
