Arizona Wildcats announce 2026-27 men's basketball nonconference schedule
The Arizona Wildcats have locked in their 2026-27 men's basketball nonconference schedule. The team faces a challenging 14-game slate as they look to build on their recent success in the Big 12. Fans can look forward to seeing the team at the McKale Center for seven of these matchups before conference play officially begins.
Preseason preparations are also set. For the first time, Arizona will host three Division I exhibition games at the McKale Center. These preseason tests include games against San Francisco, San Diego State, and Eastern Washington. These matches follow new NCAA rules allowing more preseason opportunities for top programs.
The regular nonconference season kicks off with a major rivalry game against UCLA in Las Vegas for the Hall of Fame Series on November 2. Other notable matchups include a home game against UConn on November 18 and a trip to face St. John’s at Madison Square Garden on December 5. The Wildcats will also participate in the Maui Invitational in Hawaii from November 23 to 25, competing against a strong field that includes BYU and Clemson.
Local supporters have plenty of chances to catch the team in person, with eight of the 14 nonconference games taking place within Arizona. This includes a high-profile game against Arkansas at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix on December 19. Head coach Tommy Lloyd and his squad remain focused on maintaining their momentum following a Final Four appearance and a Big 12 championship title run.
