Razorback Basketball Welcomes Maker, Frolov, Thompson and Ourigou
Arkansas men’s basketball has finalized its 2026-27 roster with the addition of four new freshmen. Maper Maker, Ilia Frolov, Davion Thompson, and Caleb Ourigou are the newest members of the team. These players will join the squad for upcoming games in The Bahamas, bringing the average age of the active roster to 18 years and 7 months.
Maper Maker, a seven-foot forward and center from Australia, brings experience from AUNZ Prep and the EYBL circuit. Ilia Frolov, another seven-foot prospect, arrives from the Real Madrid organization in Spain where he earned accolades in the Spanish U22 league. Both players add significant height to the frontcourt rotation.
Davion Thompson, a highly touted guard from Bolingbrook, Illinois, reclassified to join the 2026 class early. Thompson brings substantial accolades to the team including previous stints as a top recruit and a key contributor for the USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team. His performance at the Nike EYBL circuit demonstrated his ability to score and facilitate at a high level.
Caleb Ourigou rounds out the group as a 6-foot-11 center who previously competed with Overtime Elite. Ourigou offers a defensive presence and rebounding stability, having represented Côte d’Ivoire in international competition. The staff looks toward this group to make an immediate impact as the team prepares for its next series of competitive matchups.
