Former college football player Levi Wyatt passed away at age 23 following a car accident late Friday night. Authorities reported the crash involved a single vehicle hitting a utility pole. Wyatt was pronounced dead at the scene.

Wyatt played defensive back at both McNeese State and Jackson State. His collegiate career included a start at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, followed by his time at Jackson State where he appeared in 12 games during the 2025 season. He recorded 12 tackles and 4 pass breakups during that final season.
