Flyers, Jamie Drysdale agree to 4-year, $26 million deal

He averaged over 21 minutes of ice time across 78 games, contributing to the team's postseason run. His performance in the playoffs was notable as he became the fifth defenseman in franchise history to score in his first postseason appearance.

General manager Daniel Briere described the 24-year-old as a key part of the team's long-term plan. The organization views him as a reliable presence on the blue line with more room to grow.

Throughout his six-year career, split between Philadelphia and Anaheim, Drysdale has totaled 25 goals and 77 assists. This extension signals the team's commitment to maintaining its defensive core as the roster continues to take shape.
