Sharks re-sign forward Collin Graf to a three-year contract

The San Jose Sharks have secured forward Collin Graf for the next three seasons. The new contract holds an average annual value of $4.25 million. General Manager Mike Grier confirmed the signing today, noting the player's performance last season as a key factor in the decision.

Graf, age 23, showed significant growth during his most recent campaign. He recorded 46 points across 81 games, including 21 goals and 25 assists. These numbers represent career highs in every offensive category. He finished the season as the team's third-highest goal scorer and played a critical role in the penalty kill unit.

His contributions extend beyond standard scoring. Graf was part of a young core group that set new team records for production among players aged 23 and under. This group led the league in multiple scoring metrics for their age demographic. His overtime winner against Minnesota on November 11 remains a standout moment from his performance this year.

Before joining the professional ranks, Graf played at Quinnipiac University, where he helped the team win a national championship in 2023. He finished his collegiate tenure with 130 points in 112 games. The team initially signed the Lincoln, Massachusetts native as a free agent in April 2024.
