Apple’s new AirTags are back down to their best price
Apple’s second-generation AirTags are back at their lowest price. You can currently purchase a four-pack for $89 at Amazon and Target, which matches the previous all-time low for this bundle.
These trackers feature upgraded ultra wideband chips for improved Precision Finding. The updated hardware uses on-screen arrows and distance indicators to guide users to lost items more accurately, especially within multistory homes. The latest model also includes a louder built-in speaker and extended Bluetooth range compared to the original version.
Travelers may find the new item-sharing features particularly useful. Owners can share the location of a specific item with up to five people. Additionally, the Share Item Location function allows users to securely provide tracking data to participating airlines like United, Delta, and American Airlines during trips.
While the device still requires a separate holder or loop since there is no built-in lanyard hole, it continues to use a user-replaceable CR2032 battery. For those shopping at Costco, a separate deal includes a fifth AirTag for free with the purchase of a four-pack.
