Huawei has officially launched the Watch GT 7, a new sports-focused wearable that prioritizes battery performance and tracking precision. The device comes in two size options, 41mm and 46mm, each designed with different aesthetic profiles in mind. The 41mm model features a compact, elegant build available in colors like Cherry Blossom Pink and Clear Blue, while the 46mm model offers a larger footprint with options such as Shadow Black and Speedy Yellow.

Hardware specifications include a stainless steel front frame paired with a fiber-reinforced composite back. Both models house AMOLED screens capable of reaching 3000-nits peak brightness, ensuring clear visibility in direct sunlight. The 46mm variant offers substantial longevity, providing up to 21 days of battery life under specific conditions, while the 41mm version provides 14 days of life in light usage.

Huawei integrated significant software improvements for outdoor activities. The device now includes a dedicated skiing app that tracks specific metrics such as descent, gradient, and speed. Cyclists also receive improved data through the Huawei Health app, which allows for route imports, uphill road condition alerts, and turn-by-turn warnings. Precision positioning for these sports is reported to be 20% better than previous generations.

The health tracking suite is equally detailed. It includes 24-hour HRV monitoring, sleep management, and specialized tools for women’s health and blood sugar research. The system also supports the Mini Workout Assistant first seen in the Watch FIT series. Both the 41mm and 46mm models will be available for purchase on August 14, with prices starting at 1588 yuan and 1688 yuan respectively.
