Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 Preorders Are Open: Grab Yours Before Launch
Samsung has officially opened preorders for the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 following the latest Galaxy Unpacked event. These new wearables feature a larger battery and the Snapdragon Wear Elite chip, the same processor found in the Ultra 2 model. Users now gain access to advanced fitness tracking metrics and tools to build personalized workout plans.
Several retail partners and carriers are offering incentives for early buyers. Samsung offers up to $250 in instant trade-in credit for both watch models. Additionally, customers purchasing from Samsung can save 10 percent on other select items when they bundle their order. Best Buy also provides trade-in credits up to $250 depending on the condition and value of the device traded.
Wireless carriers have distinct programs for interested customers. AT&T provides a $100 discount on wearables when paired with a new qualifying smartphone purchase. Verizon customers may receive up to $430 off through trade-in programs, distributed via bill credits over 36 months.
The Galaxy Watch 9 starts at $380, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 starts at $700. Official retail availability for these devices begins on August 7. These preorders allow customers to secure their hardware and take advantage of launch-window trade-in credits before general sales commence.
