Samsung has officially released the Galaxy Watch Ultra2. This latest iteration in the premium wearable lineup is available now for $699.99. The device features a 47mm titanium casing and a focus on rugged performance for outdoor enthusiasts.
Hardware improvements define this update. The battery capacity is 800mAh, which represents a 35% increase over the previous generation. This provides up to 60 hours of operation even with the always-on display active. The watch is also 12% thinner than its predecessor while maintaining its durability standards, including MIL-STD-810H and 10 ATM water resistance.
Technical specifications include the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform, 2GB of memory, and 64GB of internal storage. The 1.52-inch Super AMOLED display reaches 5,000 nits of brightness. For software, it operates on Wear OS 7 and the One UI 9 Watch interface.
Fitness capabilities are a priority for the new model. The Trail Run feature provides data on elevation and climbing progress. For water sports, the device carries an EN13319 diving certification to track depth, time, and water temperature. An additional diving app created in partnership with Mares is scheduled to arrive later this year.
