The watch operates on an auto-sensor by default. It measures the ambient light in your surroundings and toggles the red tint when it detects a dark room or evening conditions. This function remains exclusive to the Galaxy Watch Ultra hardware, meaning it does not appear on standard Galaxy Watch models.

You should know that this feature only supports specific watch faces, namely the Simple Ultra and Ultra Analog designs. If you want to use the red display, you must select one of these two options from the featured menu. You can access these by long-pressing your current watch face and swiping to add a new design.
