High-speed internet provider expanding across Benton County
Brightspeed is bringing major infrastructure changes to Benton County. As the third-largest fiber broadband builder in the United States, the company has announced plans to establish over 32,000 new fiber locations throughout the area.
Work is already underway in Springdale and parts of Centerton. Construction crews are currently moving through these municipalities, with permitting processes in place for the remaining sections of Centerton.
Beyond these initial areas, the expansion project covers Gentry, Garfield, Pea Ridge, Siloam Springs, and Gateway. The company is actively securing the necessary permits for these towns to begin physical installation.
This expansion represents a shift in available high-speed options for regional residents. While specific timelines for completion in each municipality depend on the status of permits, the scale of the deployment marks a significant investment in local digital infrastructure.
