Internet provider GoNetspeed expands into Old Bridge

GoNetspeed is bringing high-speed fiber internet to Old Bridge. The Rochester-based company announced a $3.5 million private investment to install its fiber-optic network throughout the area. This project serves more than 2,500 homes and local businesses.

Construction begins in the spring of 2027. Residents can expect the first connections by the summer of 2027. The service offers symmetrical upload and download speeds reaching up to 6 Gbps. This addition represents a specific move by the provider to grow its infrastructure footprint within New Jersey.

GoNetspeed remains active across 11 states in the Northeast and beyond. The company previously announced fiber network installations in South River, Rahway, Parlin, and East Brunswick as part of a $110 million state-wide investment strategy. CEO Richard Clark stated that the expansion provides residents with more choices for high-speed connectivity.

This growth follows a partnership with Oak Hill Capital formed in 2021. The partnership provides the necessary capital to increase deployment of fiber technology. As Old Bridge residents prepare for the build-out, the company continues its goal of delivering reliable internet options to more central New Jersey municipalities.
