A 26-year-old Missouri woman, Julianne Grace Willis, has pleaded guilty in federal court to charges related to a systematic campaign of cyberstalking against a victim in Ulysses, Kansas. According to court records, the harassment began in October 2022 when the victim discovered demeaning messages sent to a minor relative on a Roblox account. Federal investigators traced the origin of these messages to Willis.
Following the victim's attempts to block the account, the situation escalated into a prolonged series of threats. Willis utilized phone calls, text messages, and social media platforms to send graphic threats of rape and murder directed at the victim and their family members. The harassment campaign extended beyond digital communications, as Willis created a fake dating profile that prompted strangers to appear at the victim's home under the pretense of romantic meetings.
Further disruption to the victim's life included calls to the victim's place of employment intended to damage their professional standing, as well as messages to the victim's relatives involving claims of infidelity. These actions led the victim to change jobs in an effort to maintain their safety and distance from the aggressor.
FBI officials noted the severe impact of these actions on the victim’s sense of security and daily stability. The investigation involved tracking IP addresses and phone data to confirm Willis as the perpetrator. She is scheduled for sentencing on November 4, 2026, where a federal judge will determine the penalty based on sentencing guidelines and statutory requirements.
