Google has officially released the factory images for the new Pixel 11 series following the product launch. These files are available for all models in the lineup and include three distinct builds for each device.
These images serve as a primary recovery tool for users who need to restore their phone to the original factory firmware. Owners can locate these files on the official developer site to perform a clean install or recover a software-damaged device. While these factory images are available, the company notes that sideloading the full OTA image remains an easier process for most users.
The release confirms the internal codenames for this generation. The standard Pixel 11 carries the name cubs, while the Pixel 11 Pro is identified as grizzly. The Pixel 11 Pro XL is listed as kodiak, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is designated as yogi.
At this time, the devices are not eligible for the Android 17 QPR1 or QPR2 beta releases. The current factory images are based on Android 17 and include the August 2026 security patch. Users should verify their region and carrier before selecting a build to ensure compatibility with their specific unit.
