Google is providing a second chance for owners of select Pixel devices to secure Pixel Care+ coverage. Normally, users must enroll their device within 60 days of purchase to receive protection against accidental damage, drops, and theft. For a limited time, that window is open again.

This extension applies to the Pixel 9 series and Pixel 10 series, including the 9a and 10a models. Owners of these devices have until August 2 to enroll through the Google Store or the My Pixel app. The device must be in working condition and show no physical damage to qualify for this coverage.

Pixel Care+ offers several benefits, including free screen repairs and battery replacements with a zero-dollar service fee for those specific issues. Other accidental damage incidents carry a ninety-nine-dollar service fee. The plan also provides optional loss and theft coverage, which allows for two claims per year.

Monthly pricing for the plan ranges from eight to fifteen dollars depending on the specific phone model. Users who prefer a long-term commitment can choose a two-year fixed-term plan ranging from one hundred fifty-nine to two hundred seventy-nine dollars. Please note that loss and theft coverage is not available for residents in New York, and the protection plan is only valid in the country where it was initially purchased.

This is a specific window for users to protect their hardware if they previously missed the standard enrollment deadline. If you have been hesitant about the lack of insurance for your primary device, this period offers a chance to add that security for the remainder of your device ownership.
