Samsung Galaxy owners now have a centralized hub for device care and maintenance located directly within their phone settings. Found under the Warranty and Care section in One UI 9, this hub acts as a single point of reference for users to track warranties, run hardware diagnostics, and request professional repairs.
The feature currently supports the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Z Fold 8, and Z Fold 8 Ultra. It is designed to work across the entire Samsung ecosystem. Users can view status information for linked devices such as the Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds, and Galaxy Tab without leaving the interface.
Diagnostics tools within the hub allow users to test their battery, sensors, charging, and connectivity. If the system detects a failure, it provides a direct path to book an appointment at an authorized service center or initiate remote support. Bixby integration is included to guide users through the troubleshooting process if they need extra assistance.
Transparency regarding repair costs is another goal of this update. The interface displays estimated pricing for common repairs, including screen damage, with specific breakdowns for those who have active Samsung Care+ protection. While these capabilities are available on the latest foldables, Samsung plans to bring this functionality to a wider range of devices as part of the broader One UI 9 rollout.
