Official marketing images for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8 leaked ahead of the July 22 launch event. These images provide a clear look at the design and hardware specs of the new foldable lineup.
The documents reveal that the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 features a 50MP wide camera and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. Meanwhile, the premium Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra steps up with a 200MP main wide lens, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP telephoto option. The Z Flip 8 maintains a camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
Battery capacity details are also included in the leak. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is listed with a 5,000mAh battery. The Z Flip 8 houses a 4,300mAh unit. While the exact capacity for the standard Z Fold 8 is not explicitly detailed in the marketing files, the materials suggest it will support up to 26 hours of video playback. Previous industry reports point toward a 4,800mAh battery for that model.
Design choices reflect a push toward media consumption and productivity. The wider form factor of the Z Fold 8 is highlighted in materials showing its use in everyday applications. The Ultra variant is marketed with a focus on creative tasks and multitasking performance. Although dimensions are not confirmed in the new imagery, previous technical leaks suggest the Fold 8 will measure 4.5mm thick, while the Ultra model is expected to be 4.1mm when unfolded.
Samsung continues to accept pre-launch reservations on its website. The final specifications and pricing for all three devices will arrive during the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 22.
