Green Hell VR just added a new layer to survival gaming. The latest update for PlayStation VR2 and Meta Quest introduces painting mechanics to help players customize their jungle camps. Users can now craft a painting brush and bowl to add color to their surroundings. In addition to these creative features, the update includes new modular structures. Players now have access to triangle frames and plank structures for more camp design options.
Incuvo also released two paid cosmetic packs alongside this update. The Art Instructor Pack and Painter Pack are available for purchase. To mark a major milestone, the team is giving away a free anniversary shirt. This gift celebrates the game reaching one million players on the Meta Quest platform.
While this update hits consoles, PC VR players are waiting for their own transition. Developers pushed the planned PC VR port from summer to fall to allow for extra testing time. Once released, current Steam owners will receive the update without additional cost. This new version will share features with the Quest release while maintaining separate content branches for the community.
