Welcome to Pokémon GO Summer Quest

Pokémon GO is turning ten years old. To mark the anniversary, the team is hosting the Pokémon GO Summer Quest in London. The event takes place at The Green at Boxpark in Shoreditch. Trainers can visit on August 1–2 and August 8–9 to participate in local activities.

Attendees at the Shoreditch location have access to specific Timed Research tasks. Players who finish the first stage of these tasks can visit the on-site pop-up coffee station to claim a free drink. These rewards are available on a first-come, first-served basis during event hours.

Beyond local gameplay, Trainers in London have the chance to win a five-night trip for two to Japan. To enter, players must complete the local Timed Research, use the in-game What’s Your Favorite feature, and share their entry on social media. Miniminter and Chunkz will also appear at the pop-up on August 1 to meet fans and discuss their own London race.

Trainers throughout the United Kingdom who cannot travel to London can still take part in the festivities. A nationwide Timed Research event runs from August 1 to August 9. Participants who complete this research are eligible to enter a separate prize draw for a trip to Pokémon GO Fest 2027 in Europe. All submissions for both grand prizes must be finalized by August 31, 2026.

Participants must be 18 or older to qualify for the grand prizes. Winners will be chosen at random and contacted by September 30. Players remain responsible for their own travel insurance and health requirements for these trips.
