ReviveZone brings family-friendly, virtual reality to Ithaca
A new 4,000-square-foot entertainment center is now open in the Cayuga Shopping Center. ReviveZone brings immersive virtual reality gaming and golf simulation to the Ithaca area.
Owners Steven Cox and Elijah Greene launched the facility on July 1 with a focus on both high-end gaming and community engagement. The center features two golf simulator bays and free-roam virtual reality experiences powered by Zero Latency VR. Games range from zombie survival scenarios for players 13 and older to accessible options for younger children.
The venture grew from an observation that local gaming options were limited. After a personal experience at a similar venue in Syracuse, the founders worked with local educators to bring the concept to Lansing. The space includes plans for future attractions like indoor bowling and sports simulators.
Beyond gaming, the business operates with a specific commitment to local involvement. ReviveZone hosts charity events and maintains a wage structure based on competitive pay for staff. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for July 17 to mark the official opening.
Potential visitors can choose from various single-play and membership options. The facility is currently located at 2309 Triphammer Road.
