You can now buy Xreal’s A01+ AR glasses in Canada
X by Xreal has brought the A01+ augmented reality glasses to the Canadian market. This launch marks a push into more accessible wearable hardware for consumers looking to connect with their personal devices. The glasses weigh just 62 grams and are built to pair with smartphones, laptops, and handheld gaming consoles without requiring a bulky interface.
Technically, the device uses dual-layer Micro-OLED displays. It features peak brightness of 1,600 nits and HDR10 support, which ensures strong visual fidelity. An internal ARView Image Engine supports a 120Hz refresh rate. A stabilization algorithm monitors head movements to keep the virtual screen steady, even while the user is in motion.
One functional highlight of the A01+ model is the absence of a built-in camera. This design choice reduces the overall weight of the frame and addresses specific user concerns regarding privacy. The virtual display is equivalent to a 147-inch screen viewed from 4 meters away, providing a 50-degree field of view for gaming or media consumption.
The A01+ is currently available for $429 as an introductory price. Xreal has confirmed this cost will rise to $499 once the initial sale window closes. Consumers can order the device directly through the Canadian Xreal shop.
