Higgsfield is scaling rapidly. The startup announced a $400 million Series B funding round this week, pushing its total valuation to $5.4 billion. This move comes just eight months after the company hit a $1.3 billion valuation, showing how quickly capital is moving in the space of AI video production.
Founded in 2023 by former Snap executive Alex Mashrabov, Higgsfield provides tools for users to create and direct AI-based video content. The company has gained traction in professional circles, including work with nearly 400 Fortune 500 companies. Its suite includes Cinema Studio for filmmakers and Marketing Studio for advertising teams.
Annualized revenue for the business now sits at $700 million with 30 million active users across 200 countries. The company plans to use this fresh capital for hiring and product development. A significant portion of these funds will cover the high compute costs required for video generation, as the company works to keep pace with competitors in the sector.
DST Global led the investment round. Other participants included Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Valor Capital, and Tribe Capital. As enterprises integrate more AI into their marketing workflows, the demand for this specialized infrastructure continues to grow.
