Charles Spencer is preparing to publish a new book titled Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, set for release on September 22. As the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s passing approaches, the 9th Earl Spencer aims to share his own memories and perspective. He intends to clear up misinformation that has persisted over the years by speaking openly about his late sister.

The author explains that he felt compelled to write this account after being overwhelmed by requests for interviews. Rather than seeing his sister described through the lenses of others, he wants to present an authentic portrayal of her life and character. He describes Diana as a unique individual who was full of love and charisma.

Spencer plans to recount their shared childhood experiences, including the difficult period following their parents' divorce. By writing this book, he hopes to offer a meaningful tribute that honors her memory while providing readers with a clearer understanding of who she was beyond her public title. The book will be published in the United States and available in 12 languages internationally.
