Actor David Henrie and his wife Maria are releasing a new children’s picture book titled Is God Bigger Than a Dragon? The book serves as a resource for parents navigating complex bedtime questions about faith and the world. Inspired by genuine inquiries from their own children, the couple aimed to combine standard storytime habits with scripture-based lessons to comfort young readers.

The 32-page publication explores common childhood fears such as roller coasters and dinosaurs. Each scenario is paired with biblical teaching to show that divine presence remains a constant comfort regardless of the situation. Illustrator Adam Gustavson provided the artwork to help bring these concepts to life for families.

Endorsements for the project include positive feedback from actor Jonathan Roumie, who noted that the book presents scripture in an accessible format for families. Ascension Press is the publisher behind the work, which arrives on shelves on November 10. The project represents a broader effort by the Henries to produce family-oriented media that aligns with their personal faith.
