Zendaya Wears Plunging Spider-Inspired LBD With a Gravity-Defying Silhouette and Antennae-Like Straps
Zendaya finished the press tour for Spider Man: Brand New Day with a final look that leaned into the film's arachnid theme. At the Los Angeles premiere on July 27, she wore a black gown created by Ashi Studio. The design features a bodice that appears to float above her shoulders, complete with antennae-like appendages.
The dress includes a corset back and a high-low skirt with a train that fans out at the hips. To round out the outfit, she wore black pumps topped with small spiders and styled her hair in a wet, long ponytail that mimicked the look of a web across her forehead. She finished the styling with dangling diamond earrings.
This appearance marks the end of a series of red carpet choices coordinated with her stylist Law Roach. Throughout the summer, these outfits incorporated subtle and direct references to the movie characters, often shifting between different styles from classic elegance to sculptural pieces. Her look at the Dolby Theatre serves as a final example of this approach to press appearances.
