Her latest album, Petal, claimed 41% of the total votes, outpacing recent releases from artists including Cardi B, Davido, and Shaboozey. This release marks her eighth studio album and arrives while the singer is currently in the middle of her Eternal Sunshine Tour.
The new 12-track collection follows her 2024 album, Eternal Sunshine, which held the number one position on the Billboard 200 for three weeks. Along with the album launch, Grande released a satirical music video for the title track, Petal. The video features her as an actress named Pepper who struggles to meet the demands of harsh critics until she reaches a breaking point.
While fans celebrate the new music, recent reports indicate that Grande plans to step away from the public eye once her current tour concludes. Despite the anticipation of a break, the voter turnout confirms that her influence remains strong. Trailing behind Petal in the poll were the collaborative track Efímero by Erick Brian, Dale Pututi, and Nesty, which took second place with 26% of the vote, and Cardi B’s track AH HA, which finished in third with 18%.
