The first live results show of America's Got Talent Season 21 has reached its conclusion. Following the high-energy performances from the initial quarterfinals, the audience votes have been tallied to determine which acts move closer to the grand prize.
Magic dance group Hundred Fingers already secured their spot in the finals after receiving a Golden Buzzer from Howie Mandel during the previous live show. This left ten other acts to compete for the remaining advancement slots based on overnight voting.
The lineup of performers included rapper Luke Taleno, light-up dance trio Royal Lasers, singer Ashford Sanders, singer Brook Lynn, comedian Cris Sosa, mentalist duo James & Marina, the Jesse White Tumbling Team, dog act Olivia Befus, dancers Sando, and the choir CommUNITY ATL.
The results broadcast opened with a performance from South Korean boy band NCT 127. Judges and host Terry Crews reviewed the past performances while keeping the tension high as the night unfolded. The process involved pairing acts against each other to reveal who secured a place in the Top 5 and who faced elimination.
Olivia Befus and her canine partners successfully advanced, while the mentalist act James & Marina saw their time on the show end. Luke Taleno earned his place in the top group after a vote against the choir CommUNITY ATL. The light-up dance trio Royal Lasers also managed to move forward, resulting in the elimination of singer Ashford Sanders. The competition continues to narrow as the remaining contestants fight for the final spots.
