Carson Daly is clarifying his future with the long-running reality competition show, The Voice. After NBC announced a new spinoff titled The Voice: Celebrity, viewers raised questions regarding whether Daly would depart from the original series he has hosted and produced for 30 seasons.
Daly addressed the rumors directly through a recent social media post. He confirmed that while he is not the host for the upcoming celebrity version of the show, he remains fully committed to the original format. Keke Palmer will take on hosting duties for the celebrity edition, which is scheduled to debut in spring 2027.
Daly emphasized his continued role in the program, stating that he is currently in production for the show's 30th season alongside coaches Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Queen Latifah, and Riley Green. He also noted his involvement behind the scenes in helping to produce the new celebrity spinoff.
Having served as the host for 16 years, Daly explained that the network intends to run both formats alongside each other. He expressed enthusiasm for the new project while reaffirming his status as the primary host of the original series.
