DK has acquired the rights to a new cookbook from the duo behind BOSH!. Titled BOSH! Healthy for Longer: Plant-Fuelled Recipes for Health and Longevity, the book features work from Henry Firth and Ian Theasby. The deal covers three books and was finalized by Cara Armstrong.
The authors are now in their 40s and focus on lifestyle changes that support long-term health. They credit adjustments such as improved sleep, consistent exercise, and reduced alcohol consumption for their current fitness. The book includes a foreword by Dr. Alan Desmond, a gastroenterologist, who provides medical context for the recipes.
The central concept of the book is the Daily 10, a checklist of four lifestyle habits and six essential foods. The text offers 80 recipes, including buckwheat banana pancakes and chipotle black bean bowls, designed to make eating for longevity accessible. Firth and Theasby aim to help readers feel better while aging well.
Dan Hurst, lifestyle publisher at DK Life, noted that the book presents evidence-based guidance in a way that feels achievable. The publication is scheduled for December 31, 2026, in the UK, with a US release following on January 12, 2027.
