Shin Storms into Five-Stroke Lead at Midway Mark of 2026 ISPS HANDA Women's Scottish Open
Jenny Shin holds a five-stroke lead at the halfway point of the 2026 ISPS HANDA Women's Scottish Open. Playing at Dundonald Links, Shin followed her opening 66 with a 67 on day two to reach 11-under-par.
Shin started her second round with a bogey but responded with five birdies across the day. She noted that while conditions were challenging, her patience and focus on the greens kept her in control. This is the first time she has led a tournament by five strokes at this stage.
Germany’s Esther Henseleit sits in second place at six-under-par following a bogey-free round of 68. A Lim Kim remains in third place at five-under-par after an even-par round. The cut for the weekend was set at plus-six, with 65 players advancing to play the final two rounds.
Tournament play continues tomorrow morning at Dundonald Links. The final group is scheduled to head out at 12:35 PM local time.
