Men's Basketball Releases Its 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule
Xavier University has officially released the non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 men's basketball season. The slate features 12 regular season contests and a series of exhibition matchups to prepare the team for the year ahead.
The action begins on October 7 with the CareSource Invitational against Dayton at the Lindner Family Tennis Center. Fans will also see a home exhibition game against Kent State on October 23, serving as a highlight for the inaugural All for One Weekend, which merges alumni and family events.
Key non-conference matchups include a home game against Iowa on November 20 and a road trip to the Battle 4 Atlantis in The Bahamas from November 25-27. The team wraps up high-profile non-conference play on December 5 with the annual Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout against the University of Cincinnati at Fifth Third Arena.
Head coach Richard Pitino enters his second year with a roster that features junior forward Jovan Milićević and seven new transfers. These newcomers include Chance Westry, Mike Nwoko, Tru Washington, and senior sharpshooter Rubén Dominguez. The regular season home schedule at Cintas Center kicks off on November 2 against Mount St. Mary's, starting a three-game homestand to open the year.
Season tickets for the 2026-27 campaign go on sale to the public on August 3. Options are available in all seating tiers, with packages starting at $16 per game. All tickets can be managed through the official athletics website or the box office.
