Marcus Freeman is “all-in” on Notre Dame and doesn’t see himself anywhere else
Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman is clarifying his future plans. Despite turning down opportunities to interview for NFL positions earlier this year, Freeman is reaffirming his dedication to the Fighting Irish. He stated clearly that he is all-in on his current role in South Bend.
Freeman explained that his brief interest in testing the waters elsewhere served a clear purpose. He wanted to hear what other organizations had to say, and those conversations ultimately confirmed his choice to remain at Notre Dame. He noted that he does not see himself coaching for any other program.
While the NFL will likely continue to monitor his progress, Freeman is focused on his present commitments. His stance remains firm as he prepares for the upcoming season, emphasizing his desire to stay where he is currently established. For now, the transition to the professional ranks is not on the horizon.
