Yan Diomande transfer news: Real Madrid have £85m bid rejected for RB Leipzig winger
Real Madrid has made an aggressive push to sign RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, but their initial offer of £85 million has been turned down. The bid consisted of a £76.9 million base fee with an additional £8.5 million in performance-related add-ons. The German club maintains they will only part with their high-flying winger for a significantly higher valuation.
Liverpool remains interested in the player but has signaled they are unwilling to exceed the £85 million mark. This move would have shattered the record transfer fee for a teenager, which currently stands at £58.9 million for Leny Yoro. Despite the intense interest from top European clubs, Diomande has his sights set on a transfer to PSG.
While he has already agreed to terms with the Champions League winners through 2031, a formal offer from the French giants has not yet arrived. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has initiated direct talks with Leipzig officials to bridge the gap. Diomande arrived at Leipzig just last year for €20 million after a breakthrough period at Leganes, and his rapid rise has made him one of the most sought-after young prospects in the game.
