Apple has issued the sixth developer beta for both iOS 27 and iPadOS 27. This release arrives one week after the fifth build, indicating a faster testing cadence as the final software launch approaches.

Registered developers can access the update through the Settings app on their devices by visiting the General section and selecting Software Update. This specific version focuses on refining the performance of Siri AI and addressing stability issues reported in previous iterations. Users noted earlier bugs involving message thread interfaces and keyboard responsiveness, which this beta aims to resolve.

Beyond bug fixes, the software updates center on the expanded capabilities of Apple Intelligence. Features include deeper integration across core apps such as Photos, Safari, and Wallet. The update also introduces systemwide text generation and feedback tools through the new Siri AI chatbot. Visual Intelligence features have moved to the Camera app under a dedicated mode to streamline access for users.

Performance remains a priority in this cycle. Apple reports that apps now launch with increased speed, while AirDrop transfers are more reliable. Network transitions between Wi-Fi and cellular connections are also improved to maintain consistent connectivity. These refinements are intended to ensure the software remains fast even on older hardware models as the company readies the final release for September.
