TECNO Debuts Tonino Lamborghini Collaboration at IFA 2026

TECNO unveiled its POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition at the IFA 2026 trade show floor in Berlin. This partnership bridges the gap between high-performance consumer mobile hardware and the visual identity of the famous Italian vehicle brand. The device targets consumers who prioritize aesthetic precision and processing speed in their mobile electronics.

The phone runs on an 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G platform. TECNO also included a dedicated P1 Graphic Chip to manage high-frame-rate rendering. This hardware combination supports 144FPS gaming and 1.5K screen resolution. Thermal management is handled by the 5K IceShield VC Cooling System, which keeps the device stable during intensive GPU operations.

Design Philosophy and Hardware Specifications

The exterior design features a black-and-red color scheme dominated by a hexagon pattern. A central Pulse Line element serves as the visual focus, intended to mimic the flow of kinetic energy. The back panel uses a dual-layer stacking process to create a physical depth effect that reacts to light. TECNO general manager Jack Guo stated that the company avoided safe design choices to pursue a more distinct look for their user base.

Internal photography capabilities include a Sony LYTIA 700C OIS main sensor. The setup also provides 2x lossless zoom and a dedicated 50MP high-pixel mode. Users view content on a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz HyperLux AMOLED screen. The display uses an adaptive refresh rate to manage battery consumption while maintaining visual fluidity during fast-paced activities.

Expanding the Tonino Lamborghini Ecosystem

TECNO expanded the collaboration beyond mobile phones by introducing the Tonino Lamborghini TAURUS. This desktop unit is branded as the MEGA MINI G1 Pro. It packs an Intel Core i9-13900HK processor into an all-metal chassis with RGB lighting. The machine incorporates an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 discrete graphics card with 8GB of GDDR7 memory. The system is designed to handle demanding workflows and high-resolution media creation.

This product launch marks the start of a broader AIoT strategy. The Tonino Lamborghini collection will eventually span tablets, laptops, and various wearable devices. The MEGAPAD 2 tablet is already slated to feature these specific design motifs. These products signal a shift in TECNO’s branding toward premium aesthetics.

Future Hardware Innovations and Concepts

Beyond the Lamborghini partnership, TECNO showcased other hardware at IFA 2026. The MEGABOOK T15 360 series features Intel Meteor Lake processors and a 2560x1440 120Hz QHD screen. This laptop line targets power users looking for dual SSD support in a portable frame.

The most ambitious reveal was the Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone. This device is the first to reach a 0mm display border, completely removing physical screen edges. While currently a concept, the technology signifies a push for future flagship models. These manufacturing techniques will dictate the production standards for TECNO’s mobile catalog over the next three years.
