Louisiana 'I Voted' sticker designed by acclaimed New Orleans artist
Louisiana voters have a new design to look forward to at the polls this November. Secretary of State Nancy Landry recently unveiled the 2026 'I Voted' sticker, featuring original artwork by celebrated New Orleans artist Terrance Osborne. The design highlights a trumpet with imagery representing the spirit of Louisiana emerging from its bell.
This project marks the tenth anniversary of the state's artist-led sticker initiative. Since its inception, the program has featured prominent figures including George Rodrigue, Tony Bernard, Becky Fos, and William Joyce. These stickers have grown beyond their primary purpose as simple proof of voting. Terrance Osborne is well known for his contributions to the cultural landscape of New Orleans. His work has appeared on numerous JazzFest posters and in collaborations with organizations ranging from the NBA to Tulane University. His background includes training at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and a degree in Fine Arts from Xavier University. His aesthetic often emphasizes the vibrant, whimsical nature of the state's heritage.
Secretary of State Landry noted that the state is fortunate to have artists willing to donate their talent for the program.
