Atelier Missor has offered the first glimpse of its new project at Starbase, Texas. The French sculpture group is currently building a 50-foot bronze statue of Prometheus, a figure from Greek mythology famous for stealing fire from the gods to give to humanity.

This foundry is known for its work with titanium and traditional metal-casting techniques. The group revealed the statue via social media with a statement noting that it will soon stand 50 feet tall as a symbol of the torch of the West. While the statue is already attracting local attention, including a visit from SpaceX staff, the exact date for a final unveiling remains unannounced.

Prometheus serves as a significant artistic addition to the Starbase site. The location is the center of intense aerospace activity, and the presence of such a massive, classical sculpture signals a distinct aesthetic shift for the area. Observers and visitors continue to document the progress of the statue as it nears completion in South Texas.
