Ariana Grande has officially withdrawn from the upcoming production of Sunday in the Park With George at the Barbican Theatre in London. Producers confirmed her departure from the project, which was scheduled for 2027. This decision follows her current work commitments, including the conclusion of her Eternal Sunshine Tour.

Representatives for the singer stated that Grande intends to step away from public life once her tour obligations are complete. The move comes after a period of intense public commentary regarding her personal life, health, and physical appearance. She has recently spoken out about the need for greater respect concerning individual privacy and discussions about body image.

Her tour is scheduled to finish in London on September 1. Empire Street Productions, the company behind the stage production, noted that while this was a difficult change, they support her choice. Casting for the show will be finalized and announced in the coming months, and the production remains slated for next summer.
